My name is Rebecca but my friends and family call me Becca! I am a 30 year old woman who grew up in New Jersey. My passion for writing began at a young age. When I was in elementary school I wrote songs, in middle school I wrote fictional stories, and in high school I wrote poems.
When I got to college, I went to Stockton University where I majored in Hospitality and Tourism Management with a minor in Writing. I currently work full time in Supply Chain Management but I enjoy writing in my spare time. In addition to writing, I like to hang out with my fiancé, friends and family. I also enjoy working out, watching Netflix, shopping, and playing board games.
The topics I write about are ones that I often think about, so I thought it would be interesting to see if other people thought about them too. There are also some poems on this blog that show how I was feeling at one point or another. I lost my father to cancer over 4 years ago after a long battle and sometimes the best way for me to deal with that loss is to write about it.
I currently live with my fiancé Erich in New Jersey. On the home page, you will find pictures of me with Erich and friends. There is also a picture of my dog Toad and my mom’s dog Jackson. In addition to being close to friends, I am also close with my family. I am a person that remains positive and cherishes the people around me. People say I’m funny too but I guess that’s for you to decide through my writing.
